There's no better place to CELEBRATE the memory of Ireland's favourite 'son' than Dublin. Irish culture and tradition abound as the city becomes a sea of green and the 'Paddies' welcome all who come to celebrate with them. The St Patrick's Day festival includes parades, concerts and of course many a chance to sample a pint or two of the black stuff!

First Festival Travel has been operating tours to ST PATRICK'S DAY in DUBLIN for 17 years now and we are clearly established as the best tour operator with the best value tour options available.
COACH TOUR TRANSPORT
Transport on our St Patrick's Day Tour is via coach and ferry. All of our coaches are executive models meaning they are equipped with a stereo, a TV and DVD/video, and a toilet. The coach journey from London to Holyhead in North Wales (where we catch our ferry to Dublin) is around 6 hours, and we make a few stops along the way for food, drink and cigarette breaks. Once boarded the ferry the journey to Dublin is 3.5 hours allowing plenty of time to enjoy the ferry facilities which include bars, restaurants, shopping, and a bureau de change. Upon docking at Dublin port, our city centre accommodation is only a short 30 min drive. Please note: First Festival Travel tours are all about great parties so we do allow moderate drinking aboard the coaches.
ACCOMMODATION
Our hostel accommodation for the St Patrick's Day Tour is at AVALON HOUSE. We are lucky enough to have use of this hostel which is voted one of the top hostels in Dublin. AVALON HOUSE facilities are excellent including 24 hour security, security lockers, bureau de change, no curfew, hot showers, email and internet access and best of all is less than a 5 min walk from Temple Bar, Grafton Street, and Dublin's City Centre. Passengers booked on to our Hostel Accommodation packages or our Coach Tour packages will be placed in dorms of 6-12 beds per room. These packages have a limited number of private rooms [singles & twins] that you can upgrade to.
ST PATRICK'S DAY
As experienced operators, we know the best places to be to enjoy the St Patrick's Day official festivities. There are street parades, concerts, dances, and a general mass celebration of which we will distribute full details including maps to ensure you have the best St Patrick's Day of your life!
GUINNESS BREWERY TOUR
No trip to Dublin is complete without visiting the Home of Guinness - St James Gate. As part of your St Patrick's Day tour we include an afternoon at the famous brewery including admission, a self-guided tour, and free Guinness! [Excluding our 3 Day Coach Package]
DAY TRIP TO BELFAST [available to our 4day coach tour and 3 night accommodation package passengers]
As an optional excursion you can choose to take a day trip to Northern Ireland and the city of Belfast via the St. Patrick's Centre in Downpatrick. The return transport and entrance to the St. Patrick's Centre (incl. an interactive cinematic display) is included in the day trip price of £15. Once in Belfast you will have a few hours in which to take in the famous Black Taxi tour of the city or simply explore the city at your leisure.
