DAY 2: PYRAMIDS OF GIZA
Breakfast. A big day out, kicking off at the Egyptian Museum, to see the treasures of King Tutankhamen before heading to the awesome pyramids and lion headed Sphinx of Giza. As sole survivors from the ancient wonders of the world, the pyramids certainly live up to the hype! Overnight train to Aswan.
DAY 3: ASWAN
Breakfast box. Aswan awaits! Today there is an optional visit to Agilika Island to tour the Philae temple, including a Nubian dinner. Or a free day to relax and explore Egypt's southern most city, shop in the colourful souks and watch the amazing sunset over the River Nile. Overnight Aswan.
DAY 4: ABU SIMBEL
Breakfast/ breakfast box. This morning setting out across the Sahara you have the option to visit the massive rock cut temple of visit ABU SIMBEL. Possibly the most awe-inspiring temple of all ancient Egypt, with its gigantic rock–cut façade, Abu Simbel is a testament to the might of the most revered ruler Ramses II. Later we board our feluccas and set sail along the River Nile. As our felucca plies its way our afternoon is spent lazing about, sunbathing and swimming.  If you want a bit more luxury why not upgrade to our 5* Nile Cruiser. Lunch, dinner & overnight felucca.
DAY 5: FELUCCA SAILING
Breakfast, A blissful day of relaxing in the sun and enjoying the views, as the felucca plies its course up the Nile. Go for aswim, play cards, chill out with some beers and sleep out under a blanket of stars!  Lunch, dinner & overnight felucca.

DAY 6: LUXOR
Breakfast. Disembark and guided touring of the waterside Temple of Kom Ombo. Journeying onward we visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu en-route to the ancient capital of Thebes. At over 4000 years old Thebes (Luxor) is a living museum and the jewel in Egypt's archaeological crown. This evening we tour Luxor Temple - majestically illuminated by thousands of spotlights. Shafts of artificial light stream from the mammoth columns and intricately carved lintels the architectural brilliance of the temple is magnified with dramatic effect. Luxor Temple is one of only a few temples open for night time viewing and quickly becomes many travellers favourite. Overnight Luxor.
DAY 7: VALLEY OF THE KINGS
Breakfast. Early morning motor boat launch to Luxor's West Bank and travel to the imposing Temple of Hatshepsut. Afterward we visit the legendary Valley of the Kings and the massive pair of statues know as the Colossi of Memnon. If you're up for some dizzy excitement then why not do hot air ballooning over ancient Thebes beforehand - it's fabulous at sunrise! Later this evening climb aboard the overnight train to Cairo. DAY 8: CAIRO
A free day to explore Cairo! Perhaps visit the famous Khan-al-Khalili bazaar to haggle for souvenirs, belly dancing costumes and spices! Or why not join us on an optional city tour visiting Islamic Cairo, the Citadel and Mosque of Salladin, the Coptic area and Hanging Church.

 DAY 9: DAHAB - Red Sea Beach Retreat
Breakfast/ breakfast box. We travel by bus to Dahab on Egypt's famous Red Sea coast. Dahab has developed from a hippy village to a respected haven with a solid infrastructure for SCUBA divers, snorkellers and travellers seeking sun, sea and relaxation. With a range of beachside cafes, shops and bars along the waterfront corniche, great windsurfing, swimming and local excursions including camel treks available to Bedouin villages and Mt Sinai climbing, you’ll probably love Dahab. An optional adventure to climb Mt Sinai and watch an amazing sunrise will be offered this evening. Overnight - Dahab.
WANT TO DO SOME DIVING IN DAHAB? The 1930km long body of water known as the Red Sea is a gift of nature and quite simply a diver’s nirvana. Visibility is excellent, the water temperate always warm and Dahab is closer and cheaper than Carribean or Indian Ocean resorts.

Wake up today and do what ever you please. Chill, relax or simply soak up the sun with a beer in hand.

Today, we offer an optional excursion to snorkel the deep blue at the famed Blue Hole. On the outer wall of the hole is a 8 metre vertical shelf, home to a spectacular reef garden abundant with colourful coral and marine creatures.
DAY 13: DAHAB - CAIRO Today can be spent at leisure, consider snorkeling at the Three Pools or taking a camel safari along the beach at sunset. Later today we return to Cairo- Africa's largest city. DAY 1: ST PETERSBURGH
24th or 27th December. Welcome to Russia and the start of your festive holiday! Airport arrival transfer from St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport to your hotel and check in. Tonight, our Welcome Meeting takes place with an opportunity to meet your tour leader and fellow passengers. The remainder of the evening is free, maybe head to the bar for a few drinks or the hotel coffee lounge. Overnight - St Petersburg

DAY 2: ST PETERSBURG
After breakfast we tour Peter’s city. Founded by Peter the Great in 1703, grandiose St Petersburg is designed around an intrinsic network of canals and rivers. Today we take a city tour driving through the museum and university district and along Nevsky Prospekt, stopping to see the facade of the Church on Spilled Blood and the Bronze Horseman. Our city tour also includes a visit to Peter and Paul Fortress, which was built in 1703 and housed many famous political prisoners. The magnificent cathedral within the fortress houses the remains of the Romanov Dynasty. This afternoon we enjoy a guided tour of the Hermitage - which houses one of the biggest and best art and antiquity collections on earth, the bulk of which was amassed by Catherine the Great. DAY 3: ST PETERSBURG
St Petersburg - Moscow. Today there is time for you to independently explore the city or take in a little more culture and history with our optional Pukka Pass bolt-on. Our Pukka Pass includes guided sightseeing, transportation, entrance fees and lunch, with a tour of Pavlovsk Palace or Catherine Palace at Tsarskoe Selo and the Church on Spilled Blood. We’ll also tuck into a hearty meal and sample some of Russia’s finest beers at the famous Tinkoff Brewery! The lavish imperial palace at Tsarskoe Selo was designed for Tsarina Elizabeth, who named it Catherine Palace in honour of her mum, Catherine I. The Amber Room is a stunning drawcard. DAY 4: RED SQUARE
Arrival into Moscow and hotel check in. This afternoon we ride the capital’s efficient Metro to Red Square, for a walking tour. The Moscow Metro, a gift to the Soviet people from Joseph Stalin. Many of the central stations are richly adorned with bronzes and chandeliers and clad with marble and mosaic! Overnight - Moscow 
DAY 5: THE KREMLIN
This morning we return to Red Square for a guided tour of the mighty Kremlin and Armoury. If Lenin’s mausoleum is open we can also pay our respects to the grandfather of Soviet Communism. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or perhaps visit one or two of the city’s plentiful museums. Overnight - Moscow 
DAY 6: MOSCOW
Our Snowball tour ends after breakfast and hotel check out at 12 noon.

A real Christmas cracker, ideal if you have wee bit more time to really see the magnificent Highlands covered in a blanket of snow.  Over the next 5 days you will take in some of the most dramatic and spectacular scenery in Europe as well as having the time of your life meeting some really great people

Our extended Christmas tour leaves Edinburgh on December 24th and includes fantastic overnights in the Highlands, between Glencoe and Fort William , and legendary Loch Ness. The highlight of the trip is a night in a haunted Highland castle for the best Christmas party ever! Returns to Edinburgh on the 28th December.

Day 1: 24th December

Heading north from Edinburgh, we pass the famous Forth Bridge and into Perthshire, surrounded by mountains, forests and salmon packed rivers. We stop in Dunkeld, heart of Macbeth country and its mighty cathedral. We then head north hearing tales about Bonnie Prince Charlie and the tragedy of his defeat on the eerie moor of lonely Culloden Battlefield, scene of the last major battle in Britain. View the beautiful Cromarty Firth before heading to our magnificent accommodation in a plush Highland Hotel in Inverness, Capital of the Highlands. Fit for Royalty, the hotel can boast Queen Victoria as a past guest. Tonight it’s the HAGGiS welcome party!

Day 2: 25th December – Xmas Day
Christmas Day will never be the same again. The morning is for exploring. Depending on the unpredictable Highland winter weather we may head to a wee town on the coast called Dornoch and take in the fresh sea air to fight off any remaining hangovers. Then we’re headed inland in search of a site for a battle of our very own….with snowballs!  A few snow-angel and snowman building attempts will set us up for the slap-up Christmas feast awaiting our return to the hotel. After loads of grub and wine you can grab a partner and work off some of your Christmas indulgencies with traditional Scottish Ceilidh dancing in ‘The Wallace Ballroom’ with its classic furnishings, antique portraits, works of art and glorious crystal chandeliers.

Day 3: 26th December – Boxing Day
We travel west through Sutherland with stunning mountain views before arriving at the picturesque fishing village of Ullapool. Then we continue south and stop off at the impressive Corrieshalloch George before heading off in search of a monster! We’ll drive along the banks of Loch Ness, stopping for a photo at Urquhart Castle, as we make our way to our home for the night, the fantastic Morag’s Lodge at Fort Augustus on the banks of Loch Ness.

Day 4: 27th December
Today we head for the Isle of Skye. En route, we enjoy some stunning scenery with the awesome Kintail Mountains, as well as gorgeous lochs and castles with probably the most stunning castle in Europe, Eilean Donan. Then it’s over the bridge to the Isle of with its fishing villages, awesome scenery and home to the legendary MacLeod and MacDonald Clans. Immersed in Celtic myths and Viking legends, tales abound with faeries and selkies while we explore the windswept landscape and brooding Red and Black Cuillin Mountain range. We return to the mainland for a Tartan Toga party at Morag’s Lodge!

Day 5: 28th December
We journey along the Great Glen fault line before passing Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain. We discover the story of meaning of the name 'The Weeping Glen' at Glencoe, and the infamous massacre of the MacDonalds. Over the wilds of Rannoch Moor, we pass Stirling with its famous Wallace Monument, where the true story of Braveheart is told, before returning to the capital city of Edinburgh.

This is one of the best Festive trips around for those who want to escape the Big Smoke. The highlight is definitely spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in a Royal Highland Hotel with a ceilidh in the opulent Grand Wallace Ballroom for the best Christmas party ever!

Day 1: 23rd December

It’s time to get Christmas underway and say goodbye to the Big Smoke as we leave London by coach and head north to Bonnie Scotland! Arriving in Edinburgh in the early evening, you'll have the chance to check out a few of the city’s most famous landmarks and perhaps a pub or two. Tonight is the legendary HAGGiS Welcome Party to get to know everyone. Accommodation is in a city centre hostel, right in the heart of the action.

Day 2: 24th December
We leave Scotland's capital and head past Stirling, home to legends such as William Wallace and Robert the Bruce and scene of many of Scotland’s most famous and bloody battles in the Wars of Independence. Our route north takes us through dramatic Glencoe, the ‘Weeping Glen’ and site of the massacre of 1692.  From here, we skirt Loch Ness and hunt for the monster, then further north to our magnificent accommodation in a plush Highland Hotel in Inverness, Capital of the Highlands. Fit for Royalty, the hotel can boast Queen Victoria as a past guest. Tonight it’s the hotel welcome party!

Day 3: 25th December

Day 5: 27th December
Bid a fond farewell to Scotland as we take the coach back to London. Swap phone numbers and Facebook details, catch up on all the scandal and gossip from your trip and say a last goodbye to your crew.  We’ll have plenty of DVD’s and music to help pass the journey, arriving back in London in the late afternoon.

From the bustling Marrakech markets full of aroma, colour and traders to trekking camels to the Berber camp Morocco plays true host to a Xmas with a difference! If you are looking for something out of the ordinary then I think you've just found it!

DAY 1: MARRAKECH
Welcome to Morocco! Arrival transfer from Marrakech airport to our hotel located in the heart of the old city. This evening (at 19:00) our welcome meeting takes place, where you'll meet your tour leader and fellow travellers and afterward, maybe go for a drink at a bar. Overnight - Marrakech.

DAY 2: DADES GORGE
Breakfast. Marrakech - Dades Gorge. Leaving Marrakech, we drive through the Dades Gorge, an awesome valley which extends from the High Atlas to the Jebel Sarhro range in the south. Berbers built many kasbahs in the vicinity of gorges for defence purposes. These many kasbahs, combined with their stunning setting, make this a beautiful region through which to travel. Remainder of the afternoon at leisure.   Lunch, dinner & overnight - Dades Gorge.
DAY 3: DADES GORGE - XMAS DAY
Breakfast. Dades Gorge - Todra Gorge. Merry Christmas! The morning is spent at Dades Gorge where you can choose to trek or relax. After lunch we visit to a traditIonal Berber home where the semi nomadic family have set up a co-operative for the trade of carpets, kilIms and handicrafts for all the rural communities across the Atlas. The remaInder of the afternoon is spent taking in the remarkable and sheer brilliance of Todra Gorge, opt to go rock climbing (book and pay locally) or just relax and enjoy the day with a great Xmas dinner in the beautiful surroundings.  Lunch, dinner & overnight - Todra Gorge
DAY 4: BERBER CAMP AND CAMEL TREK
Breakfast. Todra Gorge - Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Crossing the Jebel Sarhro, we head down to Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which signify the start of the mighty Sahara Desert. In parts the vast sand pile reaches skyward to heights of 150 metres!
The desert winds ensure this astonishing landscape is forever changing and no two days offer the same panorama. Mounting our camels, they glide across the desert sands as we happily photograph and take in the breathtaking scenery. Arriving at our simple Berber camp, we enjoy a simple dinner and a night under the Saharan stars. Remember to wrap up warm as it can get a little chilly once the sun sets! Lunch, dinner & overnight - Berber camp DAY 5: OUARZAZATE & DRAA VALLEY
Breakfast. Erg Chebbi - Ouarzazate. After a stunning sunrise and a tranquil and ambient ride back to our frontier post (camel HQ) there is time to freshen up before driving to the verdant Draa valley, along the route of 1000 Kasbahs.
Besides the natural, historical and architectural wonders that the Draa Valley offers, there are also small villages along the valley where time seems to stand still, so little is the effect of modernity on them. We continue on to Ouarzazate, which African traders once used on their journeys up to Europe. It has also been used as a film set, for Alexander the Great, The Last Temptation of Christ and The Living Daylights. Lunch, dinner & overnight - Ouarzazate
DAY 6: MARRAKECH

Breakfast. Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech. In the morning either visit the film studio that produced Lawrence of Arabia or opt to go Quad Biking (book and pay locally) before driving onward to the legendary Ait Benhaddou.
Ait Benhaddou is a ‘fortified city’ situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech, boasts some beautiful examples of ancient kasbahs. Only a handful of which remain inhabited. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, this incredible site had been the setting for many films including Gladiator. overnight - Marrakech
DAY 7: DJEMAA EL FNA & THE MEDINA
Breakfast. This morning we tour magical Marrakech, an exotic pink city of snake charmers, steamy hammams, bustling souks and hidden palaces. The focal point and highlight of the city is the Koutoubia mosque and Djemaa el Fna - the central square, which is an extraordinary market place full of colour, music, spicy aromas and traders. Best seen in the evening when the square is overflowing with food stalls, dancers, acrobats, fortune tellers, musicians and henna artists.
This afternoon and evening is free for you to explore independently, soak up the incredible atmosphere and test your bartering skills in the souks. Perhaps pamper yourself with a steamy hammam! Dinner and overnight Marrakech.
DAY 8: MARRAKECH
Breakfast. Our Moroccan adventure concludes after breakfast. Happy travels!
