For this reason our tours vary in length, cost, transport and accommodation requirements.  We also encourage group travel and are happy to create tailor-made festival packages.

Our staff are seasoned travelers, with over 20 years combined festival-visiting experience.  They share a passion for exploring the world and experiencing new cultures and love nothing more than to impart their knowledge, whether it is about throwing tomatoes in Spain or a safari in Africa . On the road our office staff are backed by a passionate support team of tour managers and ground crew to ensure we can offer 24-hour assistance when you're on tour with us. Early 2007 we took a proud and successful step forward from our former company name BACKPACKER Co. and made a smooth transformation to our fresh new name - First Festival Travel.  The new name and look was created as a celebration of, and set to emphasis and build upon, the 16 years of knowledge and experience we have established in the industry.

2007 was a roaring success with our San Fermin and Oktoberfest tours selling out in record time. Our Cheese Rolling and Hogmanay tours carried record numbers of passengers and our new Christmas and New Year's tours were hugely popular.

We are entering 2008 with even more enthusiasm and are excited to announce the addition of some new tours this year including the fire frenzy of Las Fallas in Spain and an Orphan's Christmas and New Year's flight tour to Prague . We will be adding a variety of bank holiday weekends away, tours to the Rugby Autumn Internationals and fun day trips as well so stay tuned!

This January we farewell Amanda, who has been with the company for the past two years and is leaving us to return to Australia. Amanda has been the smiley friendly face at the front of the office, on the end of phone calls & emails and in many of these website photos! We wish Amanda all the best!
